Aerosol and Interface Laboratory

Our research is focused on aerosol-based nanoparticle synthesis for various aerosol technologies, such as reducing indoor or atmospheric pollutants. We are particularly interested in improving the understanding of nanoparticle formation and control in reactive/non-equilibrium systems where particle formation and transport mechanisms are highly determined by their interface properties. See this page for more details about our research. The Aerosol and Interface Laboratory (AIL) belongs to the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Ottawa, Canada.
